ABOUT

A gathering place for community. A paradise for cider lovers, and a safe haven for the gluten free. A nourisher of the performing arts. A rustic, full service restaurant, bar, and event space where everyone is welcome.

We’re Seattle’s first cider bar, located in the bustling Pike / Pine corridor of colorful Capitol Hill. And we’re here to delight all five of your senses.

Join us for modern pub fare made in our 100% gluten-free scratch kitchen, and try one of our signature cocktails or 200+ ciders from around the country and world. You might also catch live music, game night, burlesque, theatre, or our popular Drink & Draw night -- visit our Arts and Entertainment calendar or Facebook page to explore our weekly event lineup.

HISTORY

We opened our doors in the summer of 2013 with a single ambitious focus: to share the virtues and diverse varieties of traditional and modern hard cider. We also curated a delicious menu of small and large plates to match cider’s complexity, approachability and natural lack of gluten.

As committed to the arts as we are to our cider and food, we commissioned paintings from students in the Aristedes Atelier at Gage Academy of Art, and continue to partner with local artists and arts organizations to offer a lively array of music, literature, theater and dance performances in our downstairs space.

Today, cozy nooks and communal tables invite you to relax, dine and admire the walls hung with master copies of famous paintings. Deep hardwoods and vintage decor transport visitors to the rustic locales of apple growers, and to a time and place when hard cider reigned supreme.
